Scarlet Macaw Parrot

I visited a parrot sanctuary in which there was a large enclosure set apart for macaws. I was warned to take off my shirt because they will steal your buttons in the blink of an eye. The feeling of a large bird landing on your shoulder or walking along your arm is quite something, and with the presence of the owner there, I felt I could relax and enjoy. I carved this macaw resting contentedly on his perch.
